NO NANCY, LIES and SPIN CANNOT SAVE YOU THIS TIME

The rhetoric coming from Pelosi and Obama is like writing on the wall. Americans are passionate about this health care legislation. And for good reason. It takes away freedom; the freedom over our personal lives, personal health and personal choices. It gives all of that to the federal government. It assumes that the federal government knows better than we do how to make decisions for us. Isn't that the liberal creedo?

But, this is not true, this is not how America works and Americans have had just about all we can take. We've seen enough and after writing, and calling dutifully for the last eight months and being ignored, we now understand that we must take to the streets. It is our right under the First Amendment to do so. Sure, some of us are very passionate about this, so we raise our voices. No, we know all about what's in that bill. Don't patronize us. We can read. We can download H.R. 3200. And we are pretty sure it won't change very much.

So, Nancy and Barry,  let's review: it's okay for Cindy Sheehan to take her 200 people and protest the war at the front gate of President Bush's gate at Crawford, TX but we can't go to townhall meetings that are SCHEDULED for us and express our dismay, anger, opinions and outrage at our elected officials and/or their staff because we are being ignored without being told we are not REAL? Or that this is all staged?  Even worse, Obama has totally IGNORED our protests since April 15, 2009 when we began this "journey" to call attention to our displeasure with the way OUR money is being misused by the federal government. By contrast, when Cindy Sheehan and her band of 200, President George Bush was sincere and gave a national interview in which he acknowledged her presence and right to protest the war, said how terrible it was that she had lost her son and how brave it was that he had served his country. Now, which is the better way to handle these situations? IGNORE or ACKNOWLEDGE?

Since when did paying for the murder of babies, sex change operations, end-of-life consultations and excluding people with disabilities fall under "compassion" and the American way of doing things?  Oh, it is to save money, they say. Well, we must find another way to save money because these things are morally wrong. Isn't Dr. Kevorkian in prison for assisted suicide?

While we're on the subject, those Nazis who were found guilty in Nuremberg and put to death were found guilty for doing some of the very things that are being suggested in this health care bill. Don't deny it and don't laugh it off, look back at history.  We should NEVER allow anything even remotely close to that to happen in the U.S. Our elderly parents and grandparents took care of us and we should take care of them and that does not mean giving them a red or blue pill or putting them to sleep.

No, these Americans showing up at town halls are not bused in. They are real and they are upset. They have been ignored. They will be ignored no longer. If Congress goes back into session and passes that bill, God help them. Because American's will not put up with a tyrannical government much longer. That is exactly what we are dealing with now in Washington, D.C.

And, for Barack Obama to put up a website and ask his little ACORN workers and others to "turn in" those who do not support his legislation is so Stalin-esque. So, like Castro or Mao. Is this Red China? (well, not yet) but we appear to be headed in that direction. Is he going to send us all a dead fish? Or just take our children? We will be met by men in black at the door? Will we be rounded up in the dead of night and hauled off to FEMA Camps somewhere? At this point, I believe that man is capable of ANYTHING.

We will not be quieted, we will not stay home and we will not let anymore money be spent. This is OUR MONEY, this is OUR COUNTRY and we are Americans. The DNC can just GET OVER IT. And just wait until 2010. We VOTE too. Figure out a way to keep us out of the voting booth. And I think its time to begin impeachment proceedings for a man named Obama.
